B022437...1984. FIRST ERNIE BALL STING RAY BASS. Red slab non-contoured body with Maple neck. White pg. Black pickup. Four dot marker past 12th fret. String retainer on A&D strings. No "Ernie Ball" on headstock logo. Although originally a 2EQ preamp, now has a 3EQ (used as a tester Bass for the new 3EQ preamp introduced in 1987).
